Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar (English: Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar), completed on June 26, 2003, is the world’s largest bazaar (Uyghur, meaning market, agricultural market), integrating Islamic culture, architecture, ethnic commerce, entertainment, and catering. It is a gathering place and exhibition center for tourism products in Xinjiang, and is the “Window of Xinjiang”, “Window of Central Asia”, and “Window of the World”, In 2004, it was selected as one of the “Top Ten Buildings” in Urumqi City, featuring a strong Islamic architectural style. While covering the functionality and sense of the times of the architecture, it recreates the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road and embodies the strong ethnic characteristics and regional culture of the Western Regions.
